We have exciting news to share – We’re expanding again!!
Our westside main bakery will be relocating to Henrietta, into the Regional Market (900 Jefferson Rd). We’ll be in a brand new, much larger facility, with lots of retail space for our south and westside customers. We’ll also have plenty of room for our core baking and for wholesale customers, with still more space for future growth. We will be surrounded by some other great regional market businesses like Niblack Foods, Blue Toad Hard Cider, Union Place Coffee Roasters and so many more.
In order to move our current bakery, we will be closed beginning Tuesday, September 15 and anticipate reopening at the end September/beginning of October timeframe (specific dates to follow). To alleviate any concerns, please be assured that our Penfield bakery is not moving or closing and will continue to operate throughout our main bakery transition. We will do our best to keep a good supply of product available, but please bear with us as we work through this move. During our move weeks (September 13 – the beginning of October), we will a limited capacity for handling custom orders, so we are having an order cutoff date of Friday, Sept 11. If you need to place an order for pickup during the shutdown timeframe, please contact us by September 11th and we will do our best to accommodate requests. Orders for beyond the shutdown timeframe can still be place via our Penfield bakery.
Operating and growing a business is challenging, especially during these difficult times. Although the move does take us a bit farther south from our north-west customers, we believe the expanded retail area and the better retail location will more than make up for it. Finally, we have to say thank you to all of our loyal retail and wholesale customers. Without you, the need to expand wouldn’t be here. We also have to thank our staff for helping us get here, and for working with us through the transition. We have some great people that have stepped up to meet the challenge, and we really appreciate it. Thanks to all of you!!!! We’ll keep everyone advised and maybe provide some sneak-peeks as we go.
